Scribblers and Scholars Book Schedule

January's book, "Lula Dean's Little Library of Banned Books" by Kirsten Miller, brought lively conversation to Scribbler and Scholars this month.

Overall, the group liked the idea the book was built upon — the ridiculousness of banning books, but the novel received mixed reviews. Some members thought it worked best as satire, others thought the author appeared to have an agenda that took away from the story, while others thought it accomplished its aims.
